The Occult in The U.S.

"Young Goodman Brown" is a great example of American Literature. It shows how America is obsessed with the occlut. As America knows, demons and satan himself are bad, but yet everyone seems to be so interested in them. For example, a tv show called Ghost adventures, is about three friends that go to haunted locations all across the United States to find information to prove that there is an afterlife that exists. The show is very popular on tv. Everyone that watches the show always talk about what happened and they can't wait for the next episode to be released. Even though there are some crazy things that happen on the show, it doesn't scare people from watching it over and over again.

Americans' curiosity with the devil will always be there, but it will never really be known because there isn't anyone out there to prove it right or wrong.
